Refine the art of the finish with this immersive hands-on workshop led by HAIR+INDUSTRY Creative Director Austin Finley and International Creative Director and Collaborator Akos Bodi. Together, they’ll break down the theory, technique, and thought process behind truly elevated finishing.
You’ll watch live model demonstrations, and then for those of you staying for hands-on, get to work recreating the looks. This is your chance to elevate your work—from behind the chair to on-set styling—and learn how the right products, tools, and mindset make all the difference.
WHAT YOU’LL LEARN:
Theory of finishing: understanding the intended end result and how to get there.
Product knowledge: what to use, when, and why.
Tool selection: how to maximize results with what you’ve got: hands, comb, brushes, irons…..
Blow-drying, styling, and heat-shaping techniques.
Creative collaboration and refining your personal style.

Finishing Theory Discussion (Product, Texture, Tools, Outcome)
Live Model Demonstration by Austin + Akos
Hands-On Practice: Students recreate looks with guidance
Q&A and Group Discussion
Wrap-Up and Next Steps
This class is ideal for:
Hairdressers who want to sharpen their finishing skills, elevate their editorial or salon styling, and gain creative insight from two dynamic industry artists.
Mannequin and tripod provided for hands on portion.
Class time is 10-5pm. Doors open at 9:45am.
